# Results

The **Results** tab lives inside any catalog (learning pathway) in Studio. It’s a reporting view that answers one question at increasing levels of detail: “How is everyone doing — and if I want, how did one specific student do on one specific question?”

It works as a five-step drill-down. You start with the whole group and click deeper only when you want more detail. Nothing here can be accidentally changed — it’s view-only reporting.

## Accessing Results

1.  Open a pathway from **Catalog**.
2.  Click the **Results** tab.
3.  You’ll land on Step 1 — the full roster for that pathway.

## The Five-Step Drill-Down

| Step | You’re looking at | Click on a row to go to |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **1\. Everyone in the pathway** | A searchable, paginated list of every student who has engaged with the pathway, with their overall status and last activity date at a glance | A student |
| **2\. One student’s courses** | Every course in the pathway for that student — including courses they haven’t started yet — with a Course Mastery bar. Each row shows the course name, last placement, and status | A course |
| **3\. Course content and progress** | The course’s full content tree — sections, sub-sections, and lessons — with that student’s progress woven in, plus summary cards for completion %, accuracy, total questions, and points earned | A lesson |
| **4\. A lesson’s attempts** | Every completed attempt the student made on that lesson, sortable by attempt number, date, time spent, and questions right/wrong | An attempt |
| **5\. Question-by-question breakdown** | Each question in that attempt — correct or not, points earned, time spent — with a full preview of the original question, including any video, image, or audio | — |

> Sections expand like folders at Step 3, so deeply nested content still shows up rather than appearing empty.

## Score & Status Display

Scores appear at every level, in two forms:

-   **Raw score** — points earned / total points available
-   **Percentage** — normalized to 0–100%

Status is shown as a mastery icon: **Not Started**, **In Progress**, and, once a lesson is completed, **Familiar** (below 70%), **Proficient** (70%+), **Competent** (90%+), **Mastered** (100%) or **Excellence** (no mistakes, answered quickly).

> Reporting is pulled per student, so no student is ever silently dropped from large courses — everyone shows up in Step 1 regardless of class size.

> Breadcrumbs and navigation stay accurate as you drill down and back out, so it’s easy to move between students and lessons without losing your place.
