# Logs

The **Logs** page is a complete audit trail of every action taken across your organization. It records who performed each action, what was affected, and exactly when it happened — useful for accountability, compliance, and troubleshooting.

## Accessing Logs

1.  Click **Logs** in the Console navigation.

> **Note**
>
> Logs are typically available to **Admin** and **Owner** roles. Teachers may have limited or no access depending on your organization’s role configuration.

## What Gets Logged

Every significant action in the organization is captured:

| Category | Logged Actions |
| --- | --- |
| **Students** | Created, Updated, Deleted |
| **Classes/Spaces** | Created, Updated, Deleted |
| **Assignments/Tasks** | Created, Updated, Deleted, Assigned |
| **Courses** | Created, Updated, Deleted, Assigned |
| **Families & Guardians** | Created, Updated, Deleted |
| **Invitations** | Created, Resent, Revoked |
| **Behavior/Rewards** | Created, Updated, Deleted, Assigned |
| **Labels** | Created, Updated, Deleted |
| **Permissions** | Access updated |
| **Quiz Results** | Created |
| **Organization** | Settings updated |

## What Each Log Entry Shows

| Field | Description |
| --- | --- |
| **Action** | What was done — e.g. “Created Student”, “Deleted Class” |
| **Resource** | What was affected — the student, class, assignment, etc. |
| **Performed by** | Which user triggered the action |
| **Timestamp** | Exact date and time of the action |
| **Icon** | Visual indicator of the resource type |

Logs are listed chronologically — newest first.

## Searching and Filtering

-   **Search by user** to find events performed by a specific person
-   **Filter by user** to see all actions performed by a specific staff member
-   **Filter by date range** with the Start date / End date picker

## Use Cases

| Scenario | How to use Logs |
| --- | --- |
| Student record was changed unexpectedly | Search for the student’s name — see who made the change and when |
| Need to verify an invitation was sent | Filter by “Invitation Created” to confirm |
| Compliance audit | Export or review all actions within a date range |
| Troubleshooting a missing course | Search for “Deleted Course” to see if it was removed |

>
> Build a habit of reviewing logs after any large batch operation — like a bulk student import or mass invitation send — to confirm everything executed as expected.
