# Lesson Report

The **Lesson Report** is the screen that opens after you finish (or revisit) a lesson. Everything on it comes from that lesson’s quiz result. It has **6 summary cards** and **3 tabs**.

<a id="the-6-summary-cards"></a>

## The 6 Summary Cards

| Card | Value shown | Source / formula |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **Grade** | Letter (A+ / B+ / B / C) | Mapped from your Mastery tier |
| **Accuracy** | Percentage, to 2 decimal places | Correct answers ÷ total questions × 100 |
| **Time spent** | Hours / minutes / seconds | Total time taken on the attempt |
| **Mastery** | Expert / Proficient / Competent / Beginner | From your accuracy on this attempt |
| **Points** | Total points earned | Sum of points from every correctly-answered question |
| **Trophy** | Platinum / Gold / Silver / Bronze | From this attempt’s score ratio |

> **Note**
>
> The Points card is a real, calculated total — separate from the “+50 coins” animation you may see pop up mid-lesson on a streak. That popup is a hardcoded UI placeholder unrelated to this card’s formula.

### Grade Letter Mapping

| Mastery | Accuracy | Letter |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Expert | 100% | A+ |
| Competent | ≥ 70% | B+ |
| Proficient | ≥ 85% | B |
| Beginner (anything else) | < 70% | C |

> **Note**
>
> This mapping ranks Competent above Proficient for the letter grade, which is the reverse of the accuracy order used in this same report (Proficient is ≥ 85% accuracy, Competent is ≥ 70%). It’s a quirk of how the Lesson Report assigns letters today, not a different formula.

## The 3 Tabs

| Tab | What it shows | How it loads |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **Grade** (default) | The same 6 summary cards above, plus a progress bar | The answers recorded for this quiz result |
| **Attempt** | History of every completed attempt on this lesson | Attempt history, filtered to this lesson (and this assignment, if it’s part of one) |
| **Rank** | The lesson leaderboard — fastest first | The lesson leaderboard, searchable by name |

> **Note**
>
> The tabs are icon-only in the app — there’s no on-screen text label reading “Grade,” “Attempt,” or “Rank.”

> **Tip**
>
> Use the **Attempt** tab to see whether your accuracy is improving across retries, and the **Rank** tab to see how your best time compares to your classmates on this lesson.

<a id="question-preview"></a>

## Question Preview

Question-by-question review lives under the **Attempt** tab, not Grade:

1. Open the **Attempt** tab.
2. Click **Preview** on any attempt to open its question list.
3. Click **Preview** on any question in that list to open a read-only **Question Preview** — the original question, rendered with your submitted answer filled in, using the same component you saw live (multiple choice, drag-and-drop, fill in the blank, video, audio, and more).

> **Note**
>
> This is a review, not a retry — nothing is re-scored. If the question has since been removed from the lesson, you’ll see a message instead of a broken preview.

Your grade from this report rolls up into [Courses & Pathways](https://ilmiya.com/docs/campus/learning/courses-and-pathways/), and the trophy you earn here also shows up under [Awards](https://ilmiya.com/docs/campus/awards/).
