# Getting Started with Campus

Campus is where your learning happens. This section walks you through your first login and helps you get familiar with the portal layout so you can start learning right away.

## Before You Begin

To access Campus you need:

-   An Ilmiya account (provided by your organization or administrator)
-   An enrollment in at least one class or course
-   A modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge)

> **Tip**
>
> If you don’t have login credentials, contact your teacher or administrator — they manage account creation and enrollment.

## Logging In

1.  Go to your organization’s Campus URL (provided by your administrator) — e.g. `yourschool.myilmiya.com`. Campus automatically detects your organization from this address, so you won’t need to select or type your school separately.
2.  Enter your **Username or email**.
3.  Enter your **Password** — use the eye icon to show or hide what you’ve typed.
4.  Click **Login**.

You’ll land on the Campus home screen after a successful login.

> **Note**
>
> Logging in as a parent or guardian instead of a student? Click **Guardians** on the login screen — this takes you to the separate Guardian Portal (`yourschool.myilmiya.com/portal/login/`) rather than Campus.

> **Caution**
>
> If you see a “Session Expired” message, your login token has timed out. Click **Go to Login** and sign in again to continue.

## What You’ll See After Logging In

Every Campus screen has a top bar with:

-   Your organization’s logo and name on the left — click it anytime to return to Home
-   An **Apps** menu on the right — your main way of moving between sections: Home, Learn, Awards, and (if your organization has enabled them) Canvas and Aide
-   A message/inbox icon for notifications
-   Your profile picture — click it to open Profile or Logout

Your Home screen is where you land each time you log in. It shows:

-   Your current badge/level and daily activity streak
-   Quick-access cards for Learn, Awards, Canvas, and Aide
-   Your stats at a glance: Points Earned, Questions Answered, Lessons Completed, Rewards Earned, Trophies Earned, and Current Rank

>
> Don’t see Canvas or Aide in your Apps menu? Those are optional features — they only appear if your organization has turned them on.
